Florida is most known for being The Sunshine State, and with all the sun, nothing beats experiencing some great water sports and seeing some great places to enjoy the sun. The truth is that Florida is very beautiful, but just like every state, if you don't visit the best places, you won't have that great of a time. Below, I outline some great activities and places that you can visit to have the most fun possible. The truth is that it's wonderful to see this state, but you can have the most fun possible when you visit the most exciting places.
Walt Disney World
Nobody can visit Florida without taking a few days to visit Walt Disney World. At the Disney World Resort, you can expect to have your kids meet all of their favorite Disney characters from Mickey Mouse to Goofy. Disney World has tons of rides and roller coasters that each person in your family is going to enjoy, so a visit to Disney is definitely worth it when you visit Florida. I highly suggest visiting this Resort, as it can make your entire trip more magical than normal. Once your kids see Mickey Mouse, your children are sure to be jumping for joy.
Universal Studios Orlando
If you're more into the Universal atmosphere, these set of theme parks are the perfect place to visit. Universal Studio Orlando has two theme parks, with one focusing on the classic Universal look while the latest one, Islands of Adventure, offers you wonderful attractions that are more focused on the latest in technology. Families and children of all ages enjoy Universal, as there are rides and attractions fo people of all ages. If you want to experience the movies up-close and personal, this is the park worth visiting.
Beach Camping in Florida
If you would like to get away from the theme parks and have a nice time by the beach, then beach camping in Florida is a great thing to do. I suggest staying at the Long Key State Park, as they provide wonderful campsites for quite an affordable price. They have grills and nearly everything you need just like an ordinary campsite, expcept the fact that it provides the beautiful breeze and wind of the Florida sea. What's nice about Florida is that they have wonderful beaches and great campsites, and beach camping can be extremely fun for those who want to sleep near the Florida sea.
Florida is a beautiful place to visit, and to visit the places above and to experience beach camping, you can be sure to have a great time visiting The Sunshine State. The two theme parks above are definitely worth the visit, but if you would like to add something different and fun to your itinerary, then beach camping could be great to do. The Long Key State Park is truly one amazing place worth visiting, and their $28 per campsite is definitely affordable. So, once you visit this state, it's recommended to try out everything above.
